Concrete Refurbishment & Protective Coatings Introduction As part of a record £840 million capital investment programme, Thames Water is undertaking major infrastructure upgrades across various water and sewage treatment sites between 2025 and 2030. The programme is designed to improve infrastructure resilience, environmental performance and capacity to support long-term population growth across London and the […]
Total Specialist Maintenance (TSM) installed a Delta Cavity Drain System to waterproof the complex, deep basements (B1 and B2) of Lansdowne House. The solution involved applying Delta MS500/MS20 membranes and a maintainable perimeter drainage system. Despite the tight programme and working at height, TSM ensured system continuity to provide a dry, resilient, and long-term protected subterranean environment.
Total Specialist Maintenance (TSM) was appointed to remediate a leaking lift pit where recurring water infiltration had begun to compromise both the structure and functionality of the lift system.
TSM expertly stabilised ground beneath a Grade II listed Westminster site using polymer injection. This vibration-free, eco-safe method ensured excavation safety near sensitive structures, maintained strict tolerances, and minimized disruption in a high-security, heritage setting.
The client had an original 1800’s stone built chamber that required urgent attention to refurbish and provide a chemical resistant lining.
The Client had constructed a new concrete basement car park that was suffering from water ingress through the movement joint between concrete slab and the retaining wall on the basement level 3.
In construction projects, effectively managing water ingress is crucial for maintaining structural integrity. This project in London involved Total Specialist Maintenance (TSM) collaborating with a construction contractor to address significant water ingress issues in a newly constructed concrete basement car park.
