Chemical Resistant Coating for a Construction Company
The client had a requirement to apply a chemical resistant coating to 5nr manhole chambers and a pumping chamber due to the chemicals within the final effluent from the production of the site.
The refurbishment of the concrete manholes required the following:
- Localised concrete repairs to concrete walls and joints
Sealing of leaks within the base of the chamber
Concrete fillet repairs to all the corner details
Mechanically preparing the substrate to form a mechanical key for the chemical resistant coating
Application of chemical resistant coating to the entire bund
