Contract award hydro-demolition and sprayed concrete repair

Total specialist maintenance has recently been awarded a concrete repair project at Huntspill Viaduct which is a Network Rail structure that runs over Huntspill river.

Works will involve carrying hydro demolition works to remove all spalled and defective concrete using 2nr hydro-demolition machines and 4 hydro-demolition trained operatives due to the time restraints associated with the project to circa 4.8 m3 of concrete repairs and all the repairs will be sprayed back into place using Sikacem 133R new rapid repair gunite system which is very low rebound and high early strength gain.

All works will be carried out working off floating pontoons and all the safety boat and rescue procedures in place to undertake the works safely.
