Waterproofing for a Construction Company

The Client had constructed a new car retail unit with an elevated car park with retail and workshop space below. The car park deck was constructed with Asphalt deck with Aco channel for drainage which were leaking through the deck into retail/workshop space below.

The works involved carrying out the following:

• Remove debris from within the aco channel to allow for the repairs to be carried out.

• Mechanically preparing either side of the joints between each aco channel.

• Sealing the joints with a polyurethane sealant.

• Installing a Hypalon bandage over the joints to waterproof which would also accommodate any future movement within the aco channels.
